whats the purpose?
The purpose of this book is to explain his story when he was growing up. As he building his career in aviation, he goes through many trials that test his skills, even when he was a little boy. As he was growing up he shared in his book all of the moments that meant most to him like getting his pilot's license when he was only 14, and also to fly all summer long, for just 6 bucks. He did what he did because it meant not only his life, but many others lives. Since he is the one who lived this horrifying moment he could be the only one to truly explain how he feels about what happened. I feel that he wrote this book to explain and to tell us how he felt. When this book was published only 6 months after the accident, it was really still a point of interest to other pilots, he was able to help other pilot to help then in these situations. We hope that this never happens again but not only does it take skill but it takes time to learn. For him to write this book, it took a lot of courage time, and energy to write this book. We have to understand that not only did he have to put forth the effort but also the people who were on that flight. When it was time for him to go back to work that was the time for him to get the other passengers thoughts, of course it just wasn't him on that plane.
